course overview

  • This course has now been completely redesigned with a new concept of teaching endoscopic sinus surgery together with a new international faculty
  • Six modules of problem-based dissections. Each module consists of lectures on pathophysiology, indications for surgery and surgical approach, followed by a demonstration dissection and hands on Cadaver workshop
  • Advanced areas of surgical management will be covered
  • Live surgery is planned on Friday morning.

  • Primary diffuse CRS or inflammatory sinusitis
  • Frontoethmoidal disease/masses/revision surgery
  • Neoplasia around the maxillary sinus
  • Sphenoid masses/neoplasia and other disorders
  • Orbital/periobital pathology

who should attend

The course is aimed at practicing surgeons and registrars.  Non accredited Registrars may attend as non-dissectors.
Non-dissectors are also invited to attend & observe the Cadaver Workshop lab sessions.

Dissector:  $1,900.00 incl. gst (FULL – waitlist only)

Non-dissector:  $600.00  incl. gst

ASOHNS international scholarship for OHNS surgical education

This scholarship, up to the amount of $12,000, will provide otolaryngology, head and neck surgeons from developing countries in the Asia Pacific region with the opportunity to participate in a variety of educational opportunities for faculty development and enhancement that will result in acquisition of new knowledge and skills in surgical education and training.
